Employee Communication and EAP Launch Services

Effective communication of the EAP service is important for a variety of reasons:

  • Employees must be fully aware of the service so that they can make full use of it as and when the need arises.
  • As an employer, you want to benefit from the appreciation and acknowledgement that inevitably follows when an additional benefit is provided for staff.
  • Lastly, the provision of a confidential counselling and advice helpline does provide significant legal redress against the risks of stress-related litigation - but only if the service is effectively communicated and has been genuinely available to an employee taking any legal action.

WSM works closely with all our customers to help you implement an effective communication strategy. We will supply all our customers with:

A3 Posters:

  • Eye-catching A3 posters in sufficient quantities for each office or location,
  • The posters summarise how the service works,
  • Confidentiality is emphasised,
  • The Free-Phone number and email address is provided.

Information Leaflets with Detachable cards:

  • WSM provides the employer with sufficient quantities of leaflets for each employee covered by the contract, plus approximately 10% extra spare leaflets for new employees joining the organisation,
  • The leaflets explain in detail how the EAP service works,
  • WSM's independence, professionalism and the confidential nature of the service are emphasised,
  • The Free-Phone number and email address is provided

Leaflets and posters are included within the prices quoted. Employers have the option of using personalised employee communication material - additional printing costs apply.

Pre-Launch EAP Briefings

WSM can provide a variety of pre-launch EAP briefing programmes, for both managers and/or employees, if required. The pre-launch EAP briefing session would explain fully how the EAP service works and answer any questions raised. The WSM team would also explain how the Management Referral Face-to-Face Counselling Service operates.

A pre-launch EAP briefing can also include a general stress awareness overview for your line managers if this is required.

Pre-launch EAP briefing sessions are either included within the subscription package, or are charged for separately, depending on the EAP service level you have selected.
